Sutter Lakeside Hospital New Campaign

Donate To This Campaign

Your generosity will help to ensure enhanced access to primary and specialty care by underwriting costs associated with the new care centers, including essential equipment and medical technology, and provide resources for supportive programs and partnerships that
promise to enhance the overall health and wellness of our community.

Nearly 80% of Lake County residents live in areas designated as having a shortage of health professionals.

“Every patient deserves access to high-quality care provided by clinicians who truly understand their needs and concerns. Your generosity today, will help to fund a range of projects and partnerships that will address the physician shortage and effectively remove obstacles to accessing essential health services here in our community. Help us make a lasting impact on the health of patients in our region—today and in the future.”

Medical Director, Sutter Lakeside Medical Practice
Sutter Lakeside Hospital

The generous support of donors to the Sutter Lakeside Fund for Excellence will provide the funds needed to address our community’s most urgent healthcare challenges as determined by our clinical leaders, including:

Expanding Access to Primary and Specialty Care

Sutter Health’s two Lakeport care centers currently provide primary care to 10,000 patients a year and allow many more patients to see specialists on a rotating basis. With the support of donors, Sutter Health plans to greatly expand its capacity to provide primary and specialty care to more patients in need by constructing two new care centers in Kelseyville and Hidden Valley Lake. The state-of-the-art centers will bring primary care providers closer to patients who currently travel long distances for in-person visits. The new center will also give Sutter Health the facilities needed to expand access to rotations of expert care providers in gastroenterology, urology, cardiology, and other essential specialties. The new locations will enable Sutter Health to offer extended hours, same day appointments, online virtual visits, and other ways of ensuring that working families have convenient access to care.

Partnering with Our Community for Better Health

Donor support fuels essential partnerships with local organizations, such as Sutter Health’s collaboration with Lake County Tribal Health to arrange mammograms, transportation, and other health care support services to the Native American community, and with Hope Rising Lake County, a joint community effort leveraging resources to improve the overall health and wellbeing of the community.

Supportive Services for Patients with Specialized Needs

Sutter Health offers a wide range of donor-funded supportive services for patients in Lake County with specialized health needs. Current services include Sutter Lakeside Hospital’s Cancer Navigation Program, which connects patients, their families, and caregivers with experienced navigators who can help them to overcome the barriers that prevent patients from following their treatment plan. Sutter Lakeside Hospital is also proud to offer a Smart Start Baby Bundle to all Lake County families with a new baby. Each family that completes safe sleep training receives a bundle, which includes baby essentials for an easy transition home.
